WARRANTY & TERMS OF SALE
Warranty & Terms of Sale
Buying a Banshee ATV, Surron electric bike, or Throne e-moto should come with clear expectations about warranty coverage, ownership responsibilities, delivery, maintenance, returns, and after-sales support.
Our Warranty & Terms of Sale apply to eligible vehicles purchased directly through YamahaBansheeWorld, including Yamaha Banshee models ,Surron electric bikes, Throne electric bikes and e-motos, and other eligible motorcycles, ATVs, and electric vehicles listed on our website.

Our Approach to Warranty & Customer Protection
We believe a warranty should be understandable before you buy—not something you have to decode after a problem occurs.
Our dealer warranty is designed to distinguish between genuine defects in materials or workmanship and issues caused by normal wear, accidents, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications, misuse, or conditions outside the intended operation of the vehicle.
Each product category may have a different warranty period because a high-performance ATV, an electric dirt bike, and an e-bike have different mechanical, electrical, and usage characteristics.
The specific warranty applicable to your purchase is the warranty stated in your order confirmation, sales documentation, product listing, or other written warranty documentation provided for that vehicle.
⸻
Warranty Coverage for Banshee ATV & Other Vehicles
The warranty period depends on the type of vehicle purchased.
Banshee ATV Warranty — 2-Year Dealer Limited Warranty
Eligible new Yamaha Banshee ATVs purchased directly from YamahaBansheeWorld are covered by a 2-Year Dealer Limited Warranty, beginning on the date of delivery to the original purchaser, unless the applicable sales documentation states otherwise.
This is a YamahaBansheeWorld dealer warranty and should not be confused with an original Yamaha factory warranty.
Historical Yamaha Banshee documentation identifies a 90-day Yamaha limited warranty for the Banshee. Our dealer warranty is a separate commitment from YamahaBansheeWorld.
⸻
Surron Electric Bikes — 1-Year Limited Dealer Warranty
Eligible Surron electric bikes purchased through YamahaBansheeWorld are covered by a 1-Year Limited Dealer Warranty, unless the applicable product documentation provides different manufacturer or dealer coverage.
Surron models can differ in specifications, configuration, and market requirements, so customers should always review the warranty documentation applicable to the exact model purchased. Surron’s official website provides current model information and directs customers to its dealer and support resources.
⸻
Throne Electric Bikes & E-Motos — 1-Year Limited Dealer Warranty
Eligible Throne electric bikes and e-motos purchased through YamahaBansheeWorld are covered by a 1-Year Limited Dealer Warranty, unless the applicable product documentation states a different warranty period.
Because Throne offers multiple categories and models, warranty coverage may vary by product. Customers should review the warranty information associated with their specific vehicle before purchase.
Throne’s official support resources also emphasize product support, shipping information, returns, cancellations, and warranty information.
⸻
Other Eligible Motorcycles, Bikes & Accessories
For other motorcycles, electric bikes, bicycles, accessories, or vehicle-related products sold through YamahaBansheeWorld, the applicable warranty period will be stated on the individual product page, purchase documentation, or warranty documentation.
Where a manufacturer provides a separate warranty, that manufacturer’s warranty may apply in addition to or instead of dealer coverage, depending on the product and sales documentation.
⸻
What Our Limited Warranty Covers
When applicable, our dealer limited warranty is intended to cover defects in materials or workmanship that arise during the applicable warranty period under normal and intended use.
Depending on the vehicle and the nature of the confirmed defect, the available remedy may include:
- Repair of the affected component.
- Replacement of a defective component.
- Supply of an equivalent replacement component.
- Another remedy required by applicable law.
The appropriate remedy will depend on the nature of the problem, technical assessment, parts availability, vehicle condition, and applicable law.
A warranty does not mean that every repair, replacement part, accident, breakdown, or maintenance expense is automatically covered.
⸻
What Is Not Covered by the Warranty?
A warranty is designed to address qualifying defects—not ordinary ownership costs or damage caused by how a vehicle is used.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, warranty coverage generally does not extend to:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Routine maintenance.
- Tires and tubes.
- Brake pads and other normal wear components.
- Chains, sprockets, belts, filters, fluids, lubricants, and similar consumables.
- Cosmetic damage.
- Scratches, dents, paint damage, or surface deterioration.
- Damage caused by accidents or collisions.
- Racing or competitive use.
- Jumping, stunt riding, or extreme riding.
- Abuse, misuse, or negligent operation.
- Improper storage.
- Improper transportation.
- Failure to follow the applicable owner’s manual.
- Failure to perform required maintenance.
- Incorrect fuel, fluids, lubricants, charging practices, or consumables.
- Unauthorized repairs.
- Improper assembly.
- Unauthorized modifications.
- Performance modifications that cause or contribute to a failure.
- Aftermarket components that cause or contribute to a failure.
- Water, flood, fire, theft, vandalism, or other external damage where applicable.
- Damage caused by operating the vehicle outside its intended design or manufacturer’s stated limitations.
A modification does not necessarily eliminate every warranty right. However, a claim may be denied where the modification, aftermarket component, improper installation, or related alteration caused or contributed to the failure.
⸻
Performance Bikes Require Responsible Ownership
Performance vehicles such as a Banshee ATV are built to deliver an exciting riding experience, but performance also creates greater responsibility for the owner.
A Banshee ATV, Surron electric bike, or Throne e-moto should be operated according to its intended purpose, applicable manufacturer’s instructions, and local laws.
Aggressive riding, racing, jumping, stunt riding, unauthorized tuning, electrical modifications, battery modifications, or other high-stress use can increase component wear and may cause damage that is outside warranty coverage.
Before riding, the owner should inspect critical systems such as brakes, tires, steering, suspension, drivetrain components, fasteners, controls, and—on electric models—the battery, charger, electrical connections, and other relevant components.
⸻
Maintenance Is Part of Ownership
Proper maintenance protects both your investment and your warranty rights.
Owners should follow the maintenance requirements applicable to their specific vehicle and keep records of significant maintenance, repairs, inspections, and replacement parts.
For electric bikes, proper charging, storage, battery care, and inspection of electrical components are especially important.
For gasoline-powered vehicles such as a Banshee ATV, correct fuel, fluids, lubrication, cooling-system maintenance, air filtration, drivetrain care, and other manufacturer-recommended service are essential to reliable operation.
Failure to perform required maintenance does not automatically eliminate every warranty right. However, damage that results from inadequate maintenance may not qualify for warranty coverage where permitted by applicable law.
⸻
Warranty Claim Process
If you believe your vehicle has developed a problem that may qualify for warranty coverage, contact YamahaBansheeWorld before authorizing major repairs or replacing major components.
To help us evaluate a claim efficiently, customers may be asked to provide:
- Order or invoice number.
- Vehicle identification number (VIN), where applicable.
- Date of purchase.
- Vehicle model and year.
- Description of the problem.
- Photographs or videos showing the issue.
- Maintenance records when reasonably requested.
- Diagnostic information when available.
- Information about modifications or aftermarket components installed on the vehicle.
We may require an inspection, diagnostic assessment, photographs, video evidence, or inspection by an appropriate technician before determining whether a claim qualifies.
⸻
Do Not Repair a Potential Warranty Issue Without Authorization
If you believe a failure may qualify for warranty coverage, contact us before authorizing major repairs.
Unauthorized repairs can make it difficult to determine the original cause of a failure. Therefore, they may affect reimbursement eligibility.
However, this policy does not prevent reasonable emergency actions needed to protect the customer or vehicle.
⸻
Warranty Repairs & Replacement Parts
When we approve a warranty claim, YamahaBansheeWorld provides the applicable remedy according to the warranty and governing law.
Depending on availability, a repair may use a new, refurbished, remanufactured, or equivalent component where legally permitted.
A replacement component does not automatically restart the original warranty period unless the applicable warranty or law provides otherwise.
⸻
Shipping, Delivery & Transportation
Vehicle transportation involves different costs and responsibilities. These responsibilities depend on whether the vehicle is being delivered, returned, inspected, or transported for an approved warranty repair.
Before purchasing, review the shipping information for your order. Also, confirm that your delivery address and contact details are correct.
For warranty claims, transportation responsibilities depend on the claim, vehicle location, warranty documentation, and applicable law.
Therefore, do not ship a vehicle or major component for warranty service without receiving the required instructions.
⸻
Returns, Cancellations & Refunds
Warranty coverage and return rights are different.
A warranty addresses qualifying defects or failures. In contrast, a return or cancellation policy determines whether an order can be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded.
Eligibility can depend on the product, order status, vehicle condition, use, customization, preparation, shipping status, and applicable law.
Therefore, customers should review the applicable purchase and return terms before completing an order.
Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
⸻
International Orders & Customer Responsibilities
We serve customers in different locations. However, vehicle laws can vary between countries, states, provinces, and municipalities.
Customers are responsible for confirming that their vehicle can legally be imported, registered, licensed, insured, and operated in their intended location unless the written sales agreement states otherwise.
Customers may also be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, registration fees, inspection requirements, licensing requirements, and other destination costs.
Therefore, availability for sale does not automatically mean that a vehicle is street legal in every jurisdiction.
⸻
Off-Road Use, Registration & Legal Compliance
Many performance ATVs and electric dirt bikes are designed primarily for off-road use.
Before purchasing, determine whether the specific model suits your intended use. Also, check local requirements for registration, insurance, licensing, equipment, and road use.
The customer remains responsible for operating the vehicle lawfully and safely.
In particular, customers purchasing a Banshee ATV should understand that it is an off-road performance banshee ATV. Do not assume that it is automatically street legal in your location.
⸻
Manufacturer Information & Product Specifications
Vehicle specifications can change between model years, markets, production runs, and configurations.
Therefore, customers should review the exact product documentation supplied with their vehicle. Product images, colors, dimensions, equipment, range figures, and other specifications can vary.
For Surron models, customers should also review the manufacturer’s current model and support information.
⸻
Buyer Inspection Before Riding
Receiving your Banshee ATV is not the same as being ready to ride it.
Before the first ride, inspect the vehicle for visible shipping damage. Also, verify that critical components are correctly installed and functioning.
Check the brakes, tires, wheels, steering, suspension, controls, fasteners, drivetrain, lights where applicable, electrical connections, battery, charger, and other safety components.
If you discover significant damage or an unsafe condition, do not ride the vehicle. Instead, report the issue and wait for appropriate instructions.
⸻
Professional Assembly & Setup
Some vehicles are delivered partially assembled and may require final assembly, adjustment, inspection, or setup before use.
Where professional assembly is recommended or required by the product documentation, customers should use a qualified technician familiar with the vehicle.
Correct assembly is important for safety, reliability, and proper operation.
For example, Throne’s own product information states that certain bikes are delivered partially assembled and recommends final assembly by a certified bike technician.
⸻
Battery & Electrical System Responsibilities
Electric bikes require additional care because their batteries and electrical systems are critical components.
Use the correct charger and follow the manufacturer’s charging instructions. In addition, keep electrical connections protected and store the vehicle under suitable conditions.
Do not modify battery packs, bypass safety systems, alter wiring, or install incompatible electrical components.
Damage caused by improper charging, electrical modifications, water intrusion, physical damage, or unauthorized electrical work may fall outside warranty coverage where permitted by law.
⸻
Modifications & Aftermarket Parts
Many performance-bike owners enjoy customizing their vehicles. However, modifications can change how a vehicle operates.
They can also place additional stress on the engine, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, electrical system, battery, frame, or other components.
A modification does not automatically cancel every warranty right. However, a failure caused or contributed to by a modification may not qualify for coverage.
Customers should disclose significant modifications when submitting a warranty claim.
⸻
What Makes Our Warranty Process Different?
Our goal is to provide clear support before and after the sale.
Therefore, customers should understand what the warranty covers, what it excludes, what their responsibilities are, and what information we need if a problem occurs.
A clear warranty protects both sides. It gives customers a defined process for qualifying defects while giving the dealer a fair way to evaluate problems caused by wear, misuse, accidents, modifications, or other outside factors.
⸻

⸻
Consumer Rights & Applicable Law

Warranty requirements and consumer rights can vary depending on where the customer lives and where the transaction occurs.
For customers in the United States, the Federal Trade Commission provides guidance about written warranties, warranty disclosures, and federal warranty law.
⸻
